**Saturday, March 13, 8:30-11:30 am - Discovery 201 - A three hour workshop that is designed to establish you in the fundamentals of the spiritual life. This workshop, led by Merle Lewis will cover the following: How to study the Bible...live a Spirit-filled life...get the most out of the worship experience...living in community. A sign-up sheet is at the information table in the foyer.
**Sunday, March 14, 8:30-8:50 am - Pre-service Prayer in Rob Ely's office. This is open to anyone who would like to intercede on behalf of the church and the morning worship service by either praying silently or aloud. All are welcome.
**Sunday, March 14, 9:00 am - Youth meet for Bible study. BRICK - "Built Right in Christ's Kingdom" is a new Bible study being lead by Pat and Tana Devine.
**Sunday, March 14, 9:00 am & 10:30 am - Worship Services - Join us as we welcome our guest speaker, Dr. Gerald Mitchum. CCC is the sending church of Gerald and his wife Frances who have been missionaries to Mongolia since 1995. Dr. Mitchum's message is entitled "And How Can They Believe?"

We will be studying Nancy Leigh DeMoss' book "Lies Women Believe and the Truth That Will Set Them Free." The book includes 10 weeks of study and will meet weekly through early June. DID YOU KNOW?
**We would like to have a nursery for children four and under for the Good Friday service. If anyone would like to volunteer to help out in that service, please let Joanna Hollingsworth (jmholly@nc.rr.com) know by March 26. The service starts at 7:00 pm so they would need to be in the nursery by 6:30 pm. We will need at least three adults to help out in order to open up the nursery.
**"20 Somethings" - Single or married without kids and in your 20's? This new small group normally meets at Fred & Kathy Berkheimer's home at 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. Please email Fred at joyinthejourneyfred@gmail.com or call 986-2258 to confirm time and place.
**NOTE: The "Family Fitness" binder information is now available on the webside under "Resources." This is where you should go if you lose yours or want to print out other copies for friends and neighbors.
**HELP WANTED!!! Some days our nursery is over whelmed with little ones and we need more loving hands to help. If you are willing to be an "in case of emergency" helper and willing to check by the nursery before service to see if you are needed, please contact Maria Mitchum (944-3966). Also, hard copies of the schedule are ready for pick-up in the nursery including paperwork necessary for background checks.
**AUDITIONS FOR WORSHIP TEAM are now open and all instrumentalists can be utilized. Especially needed are musicians for drums, guitars, bass guitar, keyboard as well as male and female singers. Other open positions include: Sound Technician, Projection Technician, Camera Technician and Service Director. If God has gifted you in any of these areas, you played an instrument a long time ago and need to clear out the rust, or if you would like more information about any of these positions, please contact Roby Ely at rob@cccpinehurst.com.
**Do you like support other people within a ministry? Are you an organizer and like handling administrative details? Do you have a heart for Small Groups? **CCC 'Mother's Morning Out' has paid and volunteer positions available! Please join us as we grow this much needed ministry for Christian moms in our community. Our program enables mothers (especially our military moms whose husbands are often deployed) a much needed 3 hour break on Monday mornings! If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact Rachel Hernandez (910) 528-0112.

**Every other week parents come together and pray for the youth during the time they are in their small groups on Sunday evenings (5:30-7:00 pm). If you would like more information, please contact Jamie Ely (725-1189).
**Hungry Kids need your help!! If you would like to help the youth fill their empty tummies, you can sign up (in the youth room) for bringing a snack supper on a Sunday evening: sandwiches, tacos, pizza, etc. OR, you may donate snack items such as chips, cookies, etc. Their tummies say "thank you!!"
There are several ladies at CCC who graciously prepare meals for those in our congregation who: Have to be hospitalized, deliver a new baby, have a death in the family, move to a new location, etc? If you know of any such circumstances, please contacct Debbie Pickles (295-4763 or LucyLee Priest (692-3439).

**EFCA TODAY, our denomination's magazine, is published quarterly. Pick up your copy of the Winter 2009 publication.
**Benevolence Giving Envelopes are available in the pockets of the chairs for your benevolence giving. Please designate the amount of your gift in the appropriate place on the envelope. Your benevolence gifts go to help those in our congregation who may need emergency financial assistance.
**Pastor Dean's "Sermon on the Mount" series is now available in a 10 CD collection. Suggested donation is $15. If interested please contact the church office via email at office@ccccpinehurst.com or by phone.
**Do you have a new neighbor and you've been looking for an opportunity to meet them? Why not take them a CCC Welcome Gift Bag? There is a sign-up book provided at the sign-up center.
