Children’s Ministries provide an environment for children to discover God’s love and His Son, Jesus Christ. That environment combines:
**Curriculum that is Christ-centered, Biblically based, age appropriate and fun!
**Teachers that are well-trained, organized and see themselves as disciplers of children.
**Creativity and relationships that excite children to return each week.
Our ministries to children are:
NURSERY: (0—36 months) provides care for children and peace of mind for parents. Our nursery volunteers will lovingly care for children and will abide by our nursery policy to insure the safety of our children. Using music and teachable moments, we are growing our children in their understanding of God and His love for them. Nursery children will be in Suite 1 the duration of the morning worship service.
COMPASS: (ages 3—Fifth Grade) Christ Community Church's Children's program uses a variety of activities such as Bible time, crafts, music and games to point children to their Savior and Lord.
Beginning March 1, the CCC children will no longer be in the morning worship service. They will come directly to their classrooms. Pre-Kindergarten children will be in Suite 1. Kindergarten through Fifth Grade will be in Suite 5. Classrom teachers will be in the rooms by 10:15 am. There will be a time of assembly with singing, prayer requests, sharing, and offering. The children will then divide into their respective groups. Kindergarten through Second Grade and Third through Fifth Grade. We are excited about the good work God is doing in the lives of our young people as they seek to follow His guidance and learn to apply Biblical truths to their lives.
Did you know about Mime 345? Beginning Wednesday, March 3, a Mime Ministry for children grades 3, 4, & 5 will meet from 7:00-8:00 pm at CCC. We ask that you make a commitment through the end of May if interested, and also contact Brenda Wilson (215-0328) or brendafwilson@yahoo.com.
Would you like to have a nursery for children four and under for the Good Friday service? If anyone would like to volunteer to help out in that service, please let Joanna Hollingsworth (jmholly@nc.rr.com) know by March 26. The service starts at 7:00 pm so they would need to be in the nursery by 6:30 pm. We will need at least three adults to help out in order to open up the nursery.
